About Preston Wilson

Dr. Wilson is originally from Livermore, CA. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology from Brigham Young University in 2005, his Doctor of Osteopathy from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009 and obtained his Family Medicine Board Certification from St. Louis University in 2012.

Dr. Wilson began his military career in the United States Air Force at Scott AFB, IL where he completed his Family Medicine Residency. In 2012, Dr. Wilson arrived at Tyndall AFB, Florida as a Family Health Staff Physician and was quickly recognized for his leadership and clinical capabilities. During his time at Tyndall AFB, Dr. Wilson:

  • directed the Dermatology Extender and Telemedicine program
  • directed the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) program
  • served as an Independent Duty Medical Technician (IDMT) mentor and preceptor
  • chaired Pharmacy and Therapeutics
  • served as medical director for Ambulance Services and the Coumadin and Medication Refill programs
  • launched the Self-Initiated Care Kit Program (SICK) for Tyndall AFB
  • acted as Chief of the Clinical Disaster Team
  • served as the interim Chief of Medical Staff
  • selected to be the Medical Director and Flight Commander of the Family Health Clinic

Dr. Wilson prides himself in practicing full spectrum family medicine and helping his patients achieve maximum health and happiness. Dr. Wilson is an active member of his church. He also finds joy in spending time with his wife and 4 children, playing golf, and exercising.
